Late Muneer Haider Turk

Hindko language writer, poet, and research scholar (1966-2001)

Muneer Haider Turk born on 22 March 1966 in Village Banda Paghwariyan, located at foothills of Shimla Pahari in Famous City Abbottabad. His father Majid Haider Zaman Haider Turk was a renowned Hindko language writer, poet, and research scholar.
Muneer Haider Turk completed his BA from Government Postgraduate College Abbottabad and then did his MA from Peshawar University.
Muneer Haider Turk passed away in 14 October 2001 in Kuwait due to an accident and buried on 24 October 2001 in Abbottabad. The late Muneer was known for his excellent character and beautiful poetry. His articles were also regularly published in Urdu newspapers in Kuwait. Ghazal was his main field, though he also wrote many Poetries. His poetry collection titled “Dushman Aasman Apna” was published in Lahore in 1995.
